Our friends at Left for Dead Records have a cool gig at the Wightman Theatre next Saturday (Nov 19th).

London based psych 3 piece Desert Mountain Tribe touch down in Shrewsbury for the last date of their UK tour before embarking for Europe. Their debut record ‘Either That Or The Moon’ was released to critical acclaim earlier in the year, with Drowned In Sound hailing it as “one of 2016’s finest debuts”. With a huge guitar sound influenced by the likes of The Black Angels, Brian Jonestown Massacre and Wooden Shjips and the melodic sensibilities of ‘Storm In Heaven’-era The Verve, Desert Mountain Tribe are a formidable and dynamic live unit, garnering rave reviews. Check out their recent appearance on Seattle’s KEXP online radio for a taster of what to expect. Shrewsbury’s Left For Dead records are promoting the show and owner Andy Haddon hopes to bring more bands to the town: “We’ve teamed up with AcemanSpaceman productions with a mission to bring exciting bands into the town and Desert Mountain Tribe are a fantastic start – they’ve just released a brilliant record, they’ve packed out the Liverpool Psych Fest and they’re blowing up in Europe”. Desert Mountain Tribe’s new album ‘Either That Or The Moon’ is reissued on limited edition white vinyl in October.
